また行っちゃいました! 北海道の離島。
This time I went to the Teuri and Yagishiri Islands off Haboro, Hokkaido.
今回は天売&焼尻島。
This was a pure holiday with my girlfriend. Forget about work!
今回は、ピュア・ホリデーで、お客さんと一緒でなく、リサーチトリップでもなく、高校からの友人と二人だけの、ガールズ・トリップ。
The both islands are very small, approx 10km to go around. Because we had only one day to go to the both islands, we decided to hire bicycles to quickly see the two little islands.
両島とも周囲10kmほど。天気が回復する日をねらって、前2日間は道内であそんでいたので、島は1日で両方ともまわることに。時間がないんで、島自転車をレンタルしてみました。

貸自転車やさん。かなりノリがよく、フレンドリーで、麦茶とかアメとか干しほっけまでくれました。さらにはお嫁にくればいいっしょ～とのお声にすこしノリ気になっていた友達・・・
I'd kind of expected it, but they only had so called "mama-chari" meaning "grannys bikes". It only has three gears. No helmets. They have front baskets in stead.
なんとなくは予想していたけれど、やっぱりママちゃりなんですね。ちょっとキツイのぼり坂あるけど、若いから大丈夫！って言われて、とりあえずルンルンでスタート。

で、これが例の登り坂。3段階のママちゃりじゃ、やっぱりつらかった、Teuri Hill。
The sea water was so clear and beautifully blue. Imagine this was a perfect blue sky day... This view from the lookout was definitely worth the hill climb!
坂をのぼりきったら展望台があって、こんな景色が一面に・・・。のぼって良かった～。この日は曇り空だったのに、こんなに海が青いなんて！またルンルン気分をとりもどしてくだり坂♪

焼尻へのフェリーに乗る前に食べたお昼ごはん。島に来たら海鮮&うに丼！ってことで、ふたりで半分ずつ食べた、天売の海鮮物たち。
The special islands lunch we had before the ferry to Yagishiri. "Kaisen-don" fresh seafood on rice.
and "uni-don" sea urchin on rice.
This is a short cycling path through forest in Yagishiri Island.
こちらは焼尻島、オンコ林の中の”自転車ロード”。

こちらもYagishiri。綿洋牧場のなかをライディング。まるでニュージーランドのようです。
白浜海岸。このあとすぐにドシャブリに。たくさん食べて遊んで、帰りの羽幌へのフェリー上ではふたりとも爆睡でした。島シリーズ、まだまだ続きます！Shirahama beach in Yagishiri. Shortly after this photo it started raining. We couldn't see all the parts of Yagishiri but had enough fun by then so hurried off to the ferry terminal. Such lovely tiny islands, Teuri & Yagishiri. My islands exploration to be continued...
